RAX721-A is the latest pre-aggregation L3/MPLS enabled fan- out device for the operator. It has 24 x GE (SFP) interfaces as well as 4 x 10GE (SFP+) interfaces. It supports IEEE1588v2 (TC) for clock synchronization as well as ITU-T G.8031 and G.8032 for link redundancy and BFD for fault detection. RAX721-A supports routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP. MPLS support will be available shortly after its debut which includes IP MPLS and MPLS-TP. MPLS VPN includes RFC-4664 framework VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN services as well as EVPN. With all these features, Raisecom has once again provided the industry with a high price-performance MPLS edge device.
